昨年 Cool Climateにてご好評をいただいたイベント
„_Toki no Sou_“が、今年もフランクフルトへ戻ってまいります。

今年も“morozumi”をお招きするほか、今回は福岡からmorozumi夫妻の友人でもあり、夫婦で一貫生産の服作りを行うデザイナー
“motokitanaka”、“ΜΕΣΟΤΗΣ”をお迎えし、MUKUとCool Climateの2拠点で開催します。

フランクフルトのこのイベントのために製作してくださった世界に一つだけのハンドメイド服、morozumiが蒐めた日本のアンティーク器、古道具が並びます。
ワインとMUKUのおつまみと共にお楽しみください。

Following last year’s success at Cool Climate, Toki no Sou returns to Frankfurt!
Along with morozumi, this year we welcome designer couple motokitanaka and ΜΕΣΟΤΗΣ from Fukuoka. The event will take place across two venues: MUKU & Cool Climate.

Discover one-of-a-kind handmade garments crafted exclusively for Frankfurt, alongside morozumi’s curated collection of Japanese antique tableware and vintage tools. Enjoy them with wine and MUKU’s tapas.

They introduce both old and new items:
antiques that reflect ways of living, handicrafts found through personal connections and garments chosen for the sensibilities and ideas of their makers.

年中、旅に出る以外は呼吸するように今日も明日も作り続けています。
北タイの山岳民族 モン族から譲り受けたvintageの藍染生地で仕立てたフリルシャツやドルマンコート、100%カシミヤだけを集め、解体 再構築をしたRebuild Series。
時間を内包した素材に新たな文脈を与えた、今季ならではの特別なピースが並びます。

This season presents special pieces breathing new context into timeless materials—from vintage Hmong indigo-dyed frill shirts and dolman coats to the 100% upcycled Cashmere Rebuild Series.
We present a range of special pieces unique to this season, which give new meaning to materials that embody the passage of time.

素材との出会いから、構想、パターン、裁断、縫製まで。そのすべてをデザイナー熊本出身の田中素樹が一貫して担うハンドメイドの服。
シーズンごとのコレクションや工場生産を前提とするアパレルの慣習から外れ、一貫生産だからこそ生まれる軽やかな機動力と自由な発想。
閃きは鮮度を失うことなく布へと定着し、服は機能や流行を超え、一つの思考として立ち現れます。着る人の輪郭を美しく引き立て、自由を纏うための一着を。
From fabric choice to sewing, every piece is solely handcrafted by designer Motoki Tanaka from Kumamoto.
Steering clear of the conventions of the apparel industry—which typically revolve around seasonal collections and factory production—this integrated production process fosters a lightness of movement and freedom of thought that can only arise from such an approach.
Inspiration is captured on fabric whilst still fresh, and the garments emerge as expressions of thought, transcending mere function and fleeting trends. Each piece is crafted to beautifully accentuate the wearer’s silhouette and to embody freedom.

ギリシャ語で「中庸」を意味する名を冠し、芯の強さを持ちながらも、何かに偏ることなく嫋やかに生きる女性へ向けた服とアクセサリーを制作しています。
motokitanaka’s womenswear line.
Named after the Greek concept of „the golden mean,“ mesotes offers clothing and accessories for women who embody inner strength and balanced, supple grace.

We welcome Chef Annabell Seiko Harada @anto.wagashi , who runs the Japanese restaurant KOMB in Japan Kagurazaka, for a one-day pop-up!
This is a short course where you can also enjoy Annabell’s *Wagashi (Japanese sweets).

Seppuku Pistols Europe Tour Finale at Club Tokonoma in Frankfurt!
A massive gathering of artists closely connected to „Muku“. Kickstarting the night is DJ Junpei Fukunaga, followed by an intense, high-energy live performance by Seppuku Pistols ! To wrap up the night, DJ lovestoned will take over the floor. Enjoy a documentary screening, and sake tasting paired with special dishes…!! Latecomers are also very welcome. Live in Frankfurt: Experience a unique journey back to the Edo period!
The Seppuku Pistols are bringing their explosive blend of traditional Japanese instruments—Taiko drums, shamisen, bamboo flutes, and bells—straight to Frankfurt.
Formed in 2011 in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the nuclear disaster, the band rebels against modern illusions through their raw, indigenous Edo style. Wearing traditional garments and setta sandals, this collective of around 30 members across Japan delivers a powerful performance that instantly teleports you 150 years back to the Edo era.

<DJ Lovestoned >
Lovestoned is a DJ and selector whose sets drift through eras and emotions, tracing the pulse of what survives after the city kills the DJ. With no allegiance to trend, his sound moves freely – from ambient to house, from breakbeat to euphoria. What ties it all together is a feeling: raw, cinematic, and deeply human.

<Junpei Fukunaga > DJ / Wine Maker
In the early 2000s, while working as a magazine editor and immersing himself in the underground music scene of Kansai, Japan, he began his career as a DJ. Centered around GODFATHER, led by Naohiro Ukawa, Toru Takahashi, and MOODMAN, he was involved in booking and organizing DJs from across Japan, including for the outdoor party Saion, held in his hometown of Himeji.
In 2014, he founded Botanical Life and stepped away from DJing to devote himself to grape growing and winemaking. After a decade away from music, his first visit to Bassiani in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2024 became a life-changing turning point. The experience quietly reawakened his instincts as a DJ and led him back toward music once again.
